Mariahilfer Strasse

Vienna’s most trendy shopping mile is the Mariahilfer Strasse which is located between the centre of the city and Westbahnhof. Here, hundreds of shops offer fashion, jewellery and accessories. You will find boutiques and department stores and, right next to them, film, video and computer shops. Between them are numerous restaurants, cafes, snack-bars and cinemas. Basically Mariahilfer Strasse is a one stop shop for everything you could generally need in Vienna!

Furniture and Homeware Stores

At the Imperial Court Furniture Depot (Mariahilferstrasse 88, 1070 Vienna) you can discover antique designer furniture from over the centuries. Interio, another furniture shop situated on Mariahilferstrasse 19-21, offers in contrast to that modern design trends at competitive prices. In the city center you can find further galleries and antique shops, international brand-name designers and the venerable Viennese auction house the Dorotheum (Dorotheergasse 17, 1010 Vienna).
