Staging of Mozart's operas:
Masterpieces like "The Magic Flute" (Jan and Jun
06), "Don Giovanni" (Jan and Mar 06), "Le Nozze
di Figaro" (Dec 05, Jan 06 and April 06) and "Così
fan tutte" (Jan 06) will be staged at prestigious State
Opera House.
"Così van tutte" can be attended in the original
Italian version at the Volksoper.
"The Magic Flute" (Dec 05, Jan 06, Feb 06, Mar 06,
Apr 06), "The Marriage of Figaro" (Jan 06, "Così
fan tutte", "La Clemenca di Tito" (Apr 06,
May 06) and "Don Giovanni" can be enjoyed with German
language vocals.
Lesser known "Idomeneo" is featured at Theater an
der Wien. Even the Burgtheater joins the celebrations and
stages "The Abduction from the Seraglio" in May
2006.

There will be concerts specialising on Mozart's oeuvre at
famous Musikverein,
Vienna Konzerthaus,
Schoenbrunn Palace Concerts, Palais Auersberg, Vienna
Boy's Choir, Vienna Mozart Orchestra and and and.

Cost-free open-air film festival
in front of Vienna city hall will focus on Mozart during the
summer!
Well known festivals like Klangbogen 2006, Wiener
Festwochen or Osterklang will devote themselves to the
great master!
Even though there will be myriad occasions to enjoy Mozart's
music it is a good idea to get tickets in advance!
