| A new
public library was opened in May 2005 in Vienna. This is more
exciting than it sounds: the building features spectacular
modern architecture which restructures central Urban Lorentz
square to best effects. One side of the roof is covered with
massive stairs which invite to linger and offer access to
the top of the building and impressive views of Vienna!
At the top, you can enjoy your coffee, a light lunch or some
other beverage. You can see Kahlenberg
or turn round and have a
look at the urban views that present themselves to you!
It is
possible to walk into the library to browse the book without
getting a library pass. Only if you want to take books or
other media home, you need to register.
