Skiing

Hirschenkogel / Semmering

Hirschenkogel

Hirschenkogel is proud of its well cared for slopes, 3 of them capable of hosting FIS-World Cup races. Every other year, a FIS World Cup Giant Slalom attracts many visitors. It is, of course possible, to try your own skills on this World Cup run. It is also the largest late night skiing resort in Austria: 6 of its slopes and the fun park are well lit and allow for night time skiing until 10 p.m.

There are ski runs for all: total beginners, families and children, snowboard freaks and freestyle skiiers. Its slopes feature modern lifts, scenic views and a snow guarantee.

Hirschenkogel also has extensive facilities for toboggan fans. Also, huts and restaurants offer après-skiing, for those, who haven't burnet up enough energy on the slopes!

Hirschenkogel/Semmering can be reached by train. Board the train at Vienna Südbahnhof and get off at 'Semmering'.
